Current Specs:

Model: Polo 6n2 1.4 S

Engine: 1.4 MPI 8v

Suspension: Apex springs (40mm drop)

Brakes: Standard discs, EBC Green Stuff brake pads

Wheels and Tyres: 15" Bathurst on 205 45 R15 Toyo Prozes T1R

Exterior Styling: Crome stubby aerial, GTI front grill, front splitter, rear spoiler, spotlights, RMS SS Cat Back Exhaust System, black vinyl B pillars, light smoked windows

Interior Styling: Full Polo GTi interior inc. speakers fitted in rear door cards

ICE and Security: Clifford alarm system, 6 CD Autochanger and Gamma head unit

Seeing as I've just got my membership, I thought I'd start a thread.

This was the polo 3 years ago, the day I got it - complete with hubcaps!!! :o :

I'd been dreaming of getting my hands on one of these for years, as you can see the stubby aerial went on straight away.

Quite soon after this I purchased a set of Lupo GTI Bathursts which needed a refurb and 4 Toyo Prozy 205 tyres:

While I had the tyres off me and my dad fitted Apex springs to drop the car 40mm:

Painted my calipers red as well as fitted the Green Stuff break pads:

I next retro fitted front spotlights and changed the front grill to a GTI honeycomb one as well as tinted all windows and put a black vinyl strip down the B pillars:

Fitted a K&N Air Filter (which in the Polo means two :S)

I then took the Polo to RMS and got a Stainless Steel Cat. Back exhaust system fitted as well as de-badged the tailgate:

Gutted out the car completely and fitted full GTI interior:

I then purchased a GTI tailgate and front splitter:

Re-sprayed the tailgate mercato blue and and the splitter gloss black and textured:

cheers mate :) think its the best colour - shame they never did a GTI in this shape in that colour :/

now got to get it in condition for shows in the summer!

Just when I think I have the Polo looking the way I want it someone reverses into me........ ;(

cant see from pictures but its spiderweb cracked my front bumper and scratched all across the front of the bonnet :/

What % tint are your windows?

Did you do them yourself?

I have the same colour, in two minds about it really. I miss my flash red one........

there a light smokey tint, didnt come with a %......I got it done at solartech in Stirling

and i think the blue is the best colour :)

scratch that idea......i want it looking good - not looking like am trying to copy a GTI :p
