support the cause but the 'charity' seems a bit shady. get the impression alot of people have jumped on the bandwagon without knowing anything about it

no doubt Kony isn't a nice chap, but this charity appear to be corrupt and are keen for military action from the US to support the Ugandan armed forces which are corrupt as anything. its not right but what invisible children are proposing is not the answer.

I agree with the bandwagon thing alot, (now I don't mean all) but a lot of people are like 'join this' 'post this' 'we've got to do somthing' I find it kinda annoying that they act like they really care when it's only this past two days that they've even heard this, bet they didn't even know this Kony guy existed. Probably didn't know Uganda was even a country!! Lol

It's just the fact some people think they're all of a sudden some sort of activist, you know he's been doing this for over 20 years, longer than a lot of people on here are old. As I said SOME NOT ALL. It's the people that act all die hard about it.

I saw this on FB and DIDNT repost because i didnt have a clue what it was about untuil today, i work with a lovely lady from uganda (now a british citizen) and she discussed it all in lengh with me and the "KONY 2012" is not the way to go as it is just funding the ugandan army who in turn are just killing more people who are trying to fight for their land, not revolting!

If people really want to make a change then they should get donating money or get directly involved rather than just graffitiing their town with vague posters and making posts/threads on the web. Exactly, if you feel really strongly about the cause and want to make a difference then rather than spending money on posters and sticking them up all over your town (which ultimately the council will have to waste money on taking them down) why don't you just donate to Amnesty or Doctors Without Borders or something??

Dont know, dont need to know and couldnt give a flying f**k what or who KONY is. My reason? Its nowt to do with this country so doesnt effect me. Harsh but true. Why waste our tax payers money paying council workers to take down hundreds of fly posters? We'll be paying for that.
