Here we have my project caddy for sale, I've owned this truck now for last cuple of years and i got it from my brother who used it as a daily....

really dont wanna sell this but needing a new work van is forcing sale as my old work van decided to blow a liner out last friday.... but anyway

good stuff...

the reason its so tatty is because I'm really into rats and i was guna be a rough and ready truck that was stupidly low...

comes with front coilovers, fairly new (cleaneed up and regreased once a year so they are free as a bird to adjust)

2 seat of 2inch lowering block as I've been riding it with 2 pairs in (to get the back right down)

new front discs and pads

full strip, clean up and ajust on rear brakes

comes with brand new set of tinted front light (propper ones tinted from factory inside and not me spraying them)

also comes with new front grille and headlight surrounds with chrome trim

assorted new parts like ball joints, track rod ends and bearings etc...

and old parts like trim, clips, bolts etc...

comes with propper caddy toe bar

now the expensive stuff...

I've had the front end body dropped, the engine was removed and the front suspension turrets were cut out and raised and rewelded back in so that the truck naturally sit lower with ajusting any coilovers...

also the drive shaft channels were chopped out abit and i had higher channels welded in

engine mounts also chopped out, raise and removed to stop any nasty sump damage

battery tray repositioned

gear linkages modified

while engine was out i also had brand new timing belt done (as it would have been rude not too)

rear axle flipped

also had custom U bolt made to fit in the 4inch blocks for both side at the back

also had new exhaust system from center section back

ALL WORK DONE BY FAIRBANK AND CRAVEN OF SCARBOROUGH (VW SPECIALISTS) RECIEPTS TO PROVE OF £2000+

bad bits....

obviously with it being off road and in storage for so long its gunna look like crap but i have spent alot of time and money on it

rear arches are rotton

too small bits of welding need duin on the sills (1 spot at each side)

a few bits missing like door cards, both bumpers, cd player, passenger door seals for windows

windscreen cracked and needs replacing

bodywork need attention but if the next owner want a rat truck then it will be perfect for them

all brakes serviced, coilovers regreased, inner arches undersealed, wings and doors sanded down ready for paint, door fully stripped and seal, runners etc all cleaned up and regreased
