VW Polo CL Coupe mk3, 1993 K registration, 1.3 spi, Alpine White

Purchased this car in October last year off a fellow "Club Polo" member, I bought it as a winter car so i could keep my Corrado off the road. Since then i've used it every day doing 40+ miles to work and back.

Polo has 110,000 on the clock with 11 service stamps in the book, MOT till September 25th 2012, Tax till end of April.

Car was first registered at Arlington VW garage Derby and all service stamps show garages in the Derby/Nottingham area, i am only the fifth registered keeper.

Comes with all original VW manuals etc, 2 sets of keys and immobilisers and lots of old MOTs etc.

The car is far from the standard CL spec, it has genuine BBS RA G40 alloys with less than a year old tyres, clear indicators and side-repeaters, red stripe on bumpers for the GT/G40 look, later style tinted rear lights, gt steering wheel, gt clocks with rev counter and "genisis" seats.

Since owning I have given it a service, fitted new rear wheel bearings, fitted a new fan belt, new fuel pump and fuel filter and only just this week fitted a new clutch cable.

Bodywork is in very good condition, no major dents to mention just the usual car park dings here and there, and a few small rust specs mainly on the lower part of the doors.

Polo drives really well, clutch is fine, brakes work well etc

A few faults to mention, glass in the passenger wing mirror is broken, i will try and get down to my local scrap yard this weekend and find a replacement, on the gt clocks i fitted the temperature warning light keeps flashing intermittently, it never flashed on the original clocks and i keep on checking the coolant level, i can only assume it is an electrical fault on the clocks, finally the replacement fuel pump i fitted is a bit on the noisy side.
