polo SE 1.4 8v, the beginning..

Featured Replies

Hello guys I'm new here, my names Daniel, I love on the North Wales Coast and have recently purchased a polo 6n 1.4 SE model

The car:

i bought the car from a member on here, its been looked after very well and has endless service history..

its got 77k miles bearly broken in, and came with 10 months mot and decent tax too.

the car itself is standard, minus a set of fox racing alloys, not really my cup of tea, but they have good michalin tyres which look new!

the car has recently had a Full new exhaust system, inc. CAT converter, and downpipe, although seems to have developed a couple of minor blows at the join's nothing abit of paste and tightening shouldnt sort out!

recently had new brakes, was a shock to see nice size vented brakes on a low power model, either way there really good now broken in!

coming from a world of high power cars, this is a dog, but feels very tight and give a nice feel when driving it, one of my last cars being a 140BHP saxo VTS the polo feels 10x better!!

right now, i need to get the wishbones changed as yesterday one of the rubber bushes gave up!

also new coilovers, OEM suspension isnt what it should be these years later,

also i think the wheels might go and get something more suited to the polo..

thats all for now.. will keep you posted!
