Honda Civic SiR

The time has come to let the SiR go unfortunately as I’m craving a newer more refined car. It only gets used at weekends if that at the moment, I do maybe 20 miles a week in it tops. She’s only run on V-power/high octane fuel and only the best oil and filters are used. In a nutshell it’s a fastidiously well looked after very well spec’d savage car, with fresh paintwork and a history of forum owners who I’m sure will vouch for the vehicle during their ownership.

I’m an honest guy so I’ll get the bad point out the way; the vehicle was reversed into by a bus when the previous owner had the car. As a result of being an import and an older car it has been logged on the log book as being recorded damaged. Book price for one of these cars is like £400 so the most minimal of damage will exceed this. A pathetic system but hey I defy anyone who can spot where the damage was on the car, the repairs were fantastic. If I didn’t tell you, you wouldn’t know, simple as that so don’t be put off by this.

The car has a b16a2 Spoon spec engine which was built by Jamspeed and runs brilliantly; the engine does not make a single noise out of place comes down to idle and temperature perfectly. The engine has had approximately 5000miles on it since new so it’s coming good and has been run in properly for the lucky new owner.

Exterior

Originally the car was black; it was re-sprayed about 8 months ago in glacia white with smoothed out rear window wiper and front number plate holes. The wiper delete is showing signs of needing some attention and the front bumper has stone chips.

Additional to the re-spray the exterior has the following items;

Genuine Honda Access wind deflectors.

There will no doubt be a few things i have forgotten.

The car has had new engine oil filter, plugs, gearbox oil, cambelt, water pump, aux belt, so the engine will not need any attention for some time apart from a regular oil change. The only point to note is the power steering belt needs tightening, to be honest if I get 5 mins ill get that done.

This car gets a lot of attention where ever it’s taken, and with a specification like this is it any wonder?
