I've decided to get rid of mine once I put next MOT on it m8. Was going to do a AFH conversion in it as shell is solid but dont have the time or funds lately. Waiting for some little bits to come for it then gonna do the head gasket on it n water pump n give it a good service. Its as is in my profile picture. All panels are straight, no major dents, no major rust. Sills solid. wings and inner wings solid. Repaired a bit of rust at back left tail light last year.Fibre glassed it. Still not painted it yet. Tailgate has got worst of the stone chips and bit of rust. Its got the 2G engine. Ide meet you half way no bother possibly for a swap and money depending on condition of your pug. You would just have to jump into the A9 n head for inverness. I'm more looking for a diesel pug. Is yours a petrol?

Might be sold now. been offered £300 for it from a guy at work who knows the car. Thats as it is with no MOT and no TAX. a prolly take it n put it towards a cheap diesel some point. Hummn n hawwing bout it the now and i know i will regret it but needs must. There aint many m2k shells as straight with solid sills and wings like mine kicking about no more. And they will soon be exstinct. Think the numbers are under 200 in uk still legal and on the road. Theres no major work needed on it. What gives u the impression there is?

I guess its not bad considering the age of the car. I suppose I need to remember how old they are!

I decided to keep it in the end since it will be a cheap runner for now. Going to sell my 4x4 and treat the polo to a complete rebuild and respray. I think it was in a bad mood with me when I was going to sell it. OOOOOoooooops
