I like the guys write-up! TBH I completely agree with everything he has said.

And while those self important fags are bitching on the internet about how other people mod their cars, their wives/girlfriends are more than likely banging the living shit out of some one else behind their back... Some one who unlike them, doesn't sow their name tag into their Y fronts, doesn't wear tank tops and doesn't spend Sunday pruning their hedge and washing their pristine 1 owner from new base model vaxhall vectra.

Their opinion is as irrelevant as their sad little lives. A lot of threads from there used to get posted up on here quite a while back so I've read a fair few threads on there and (not sure if its changed since) when ever the owner of the car would join up and tell them to get a life they would get really angry and start going on about how they were more intelligent than the "barry" they were arguing with

Back then my opinion was that that site was filled with sad little vectra driving virgins, and after reading some of that thread my opinion hasn't changed one bit

I've also seen a Mk4 Golf on Bentley Conti wheels. I was quite keen to point out to the owner he was a knob, but thought better of myself.

Completely agree tbh, Vectra owners was the first thing to come to mind. And how can they compare some of the cars on that forums to those of UD? I mean most are modified for aestetic value, they bitch about 'steering geometry' who gives a fuck it looks good. I doubt you'll see any of those cars running a 1/4 mile lolz.

You should join, and post that^^ If those cars were dangerous, they probs wouldnt have made the trip across europe?! At least we have a hobby that is better than sitting on the internet all day moaning about how other people choose to modify cars. The fact that none of those cars are 'Barry' is also a problem for them. You know what i think. Everyone on there is jealous of those cars, and their owners, and longs to be accepted into a 'scene' and to for the first time in their lives, be down with the kids

I still like modded cars, i just like them to be useable and not have to drive at 20 mph everywhere. I can't for the life of me see the point in fitting 8j wide rims that poke, then applying 175 wide tyres to clear the arches. I've no interest in being cool, maybe that is my problem?! I drive an old vw cos it is what I like driving, to me it's a car, not a fashion accessory.

TBH most of these kids are doing their cars up to fit in with the rest of their skinny jeaned, oversized, baseball cap wearing friends, so they can sit around in car parks, in their modded 'dubs' talking about how sic their stance is, and how ill their tyres are.

Had a chance to read through the rest of that thread, who would of thought they would start arguing and questioning peoples intelligence. Seems that site is still the same since the last thread I read on there about 4 years back.

They seem to like to massage their ego's with claims of intellectual might, yet their still bickering over the internet like fucking retards

Some thing they don't seem to be able to grasp is that some of them cars are using air ride and probably won't drive much different to a standard car at driving height. Even the golf with lambo wheels is sitting with a fair amount of turn on the wheels yet plenty of space between the tyre and arch

Vectra owners have a image and its this image that springs to mind when I read that forum. Also Tue last time a thread like this was posted on here I looked at the cars they drive, and a fair few of them were standard vectra's

Same here, i'm 31 this year, own a corsa 1.7d 5 door runabout, 56 plate fusion family car, and the 1.4 16v polo.

I've done my fair share of modding, know, i would like to think, a fair bit about cars, not scared to grab my tool kit and have a crack at fixing the car myself, unlike the mongs on BB who just pay through the eyeballs for main dealer services as they are the best :/

And when it comes to a stereotypical BB car, i would imagine a nice rover 45 or a 5 series bm. perhaps even a mondeo.
