haha, I'm having some fun, its all that matters.

Shame i have work in a mo. I'll come back to some mincing i bet

I think it'd be more accurate to say this site was built purely for people to criticise other peoples taste in a completely non-constructive manner and make sweeping generalisations about others based on what they drive.

Sums up the whole site perfectly.

"Stretched tyres don't look good when it's the slightest of stretch, let alone when you've got an inch of rim sticking out. Just pathetic, it looks so unimaginatively shite."

Really?

I dont know if you guys trolling actually liven up their day, knowing they are getting a reaction is probably giving them little 2" stiffies.

Hmm, they do seem to have a unhealthy obsession with penis' maybe bitching about other peoples car's is a bizarre side effect of server penis envy? :?

Or maybe they are are just a bunch of closet cases, who knows...

I wouldn't let that worry me too much if I was him tbh, especially when the person trying to take the piss owns these two awesome machines

The irony is that through that thread the users of that site have been using terms like "driving enthusiast"

They can rant all they like about how much we are wankers for modifying our cars as a hobby. I'd rather be a idiot for that than be a idiot for sitting behind a pc screen insulting cars and casting aspersions about what sort of person the owner is but having got the balls to go down to my local Asda car park and say it to the lads face to face.

Their main argument seems to be that people have ruined the handling and ride of their cars, I'm sorry but how pathetic does your life have to be when you're worrying about how a car you will never go in rides and handles? Surely the only person who has any reason to worry about that is the owner of the car?

The 106 is adorned with clear side indicators and a boot spoiler, now then, they probably came as standard on it, but it is nevertheless ................barry.

i have a vectra - it is great, i use it for toilet training my pet giraffe. that is the reason i bought one with a sunroof.(non lowered).

Pug boy just challenged you Matt

I did say one thing as fact, looking back on the thread, which was "Also, the whole "I dun cut some coils off my springs" concept of lowering is just fucking stupid and unsafe". I'll say that my opinion is based on the fact that hacking lumps out of your springs with a grinder is unsafe. Tell you what, prove me wrong. Go on.

I'd be interested in seeing his evidence to support his sweeping statement of "cutting springs is unsafe". It's no more dangerous than changing brake pads, fuck it up and yeah it could be dangerous, use some common sense and its perfectly fine. Unfortunately tho I only have personal experience of this rather than just some "knowledge" I picked up by reading some one else's opinion that had never done it themselves either

Also I fail to see what's so dangerous about this :?

DSC00915.jpg

He's used a scissor jack to change a wheel and lowered the new wheel with no tyre on on to a block to check for arch clearance ect. It's not like he's got it jacked up as high as it will go and is laying under it trying to rag the exhaust off or some thing. Wonder if these people still have to get their mums to help them cross the road because its too dangerous for them to do it alone

I never bothered replying to that one because obviously there is no way to prove that it's not dangerous.

You lot are definitely just fuelling the fire lol.

Unfortunately it's people like this that ruin the modified car scene for the rest of us. Some of the engineering and workmanship gone into those dubs is just amazing, surely you should just appreciate the work rather than take the piss because it's not your cup of tea.

Also I wouldn't mind if their cars were highly tuned track monsters, but going by the pics in this thread.. Bit rich isn't it?

I drive a standard height car but I have green calipers.

therefore I must be a well endowed pikey.

I understand they might disagree with lowered cars but to go on a massive rant smacks of blatent ignorance and lack of respect.

none of them are what I would class as car enthusiasts (someone who respects ANY car regardless of whether they like it or not)

"Every single one of them is tragic. Tragic for the amount of money the owners have thrown down the drain just to wave their willies in front of their mates.

Stanceworks? It clearly fucking doesn't, they all look ridiculous. Fucking mongy sheep Barries."

Obviously this guy is poor and has a really shit car...
