Judging by the fact there is no record of it on the DVLA and by the fact that is his most recent post in the section it seems like he takes the bus .

Everyone who drives any form of car will have been judged on it a few times, pigeon-holed, stereotyped. But if you weren't aware of it, does it matter? Once it does the rounds and someone tries to go on there and defend their hobby, they're pouring fuel on the fire. You won't win an argument with them, even if you present well-reasoned fact, because they're going on there to have a rant and anyone who disagrees is hopelessly outnumbered. It'll always come down to the basic insult of "Yeah but you're a chav..."

I've not read the thread, I can guess what it says, but I don't care about what they think about my hobby any more than I care about what the family in the house opposite think about which pair of trainers I'm wearing to work. I also wouldn't be seen dead in some of the nails that lot drive, much as they probably would want a brown paper bag before they got in my car.

They sound like my dad, he could never understand why I spent so much time and effort on my car, but then I wouldn't expect him to because he wasn't a car person. Car people understand why we do it whether they like what we do or not, because under the surface we're all in it because we love cars. If performance is your thing then fine, if its big body kits and wheels then fair play, if its a pristine original classic ect ect.

If you don't understand why people put so much time, effort and money into a car then your not a car enthusiast, plan and simple. I know people that have restored old cars and by the time they were done they had spent more than it would of cost to buy one already in that condition in the first place, but that isn't the point is it.

Intelligent people with helpful opinions or insightful comments are the people I like talking to, and care about what they have to say. Even if I don't agree with what's being written.

It's a very strange forum with some very strange people on it. I find the fact that they expect that thread to be link around forums all over the net (pretentious much?) With everyone laughing at the "stancers" (what the fuck is a stancer? ). I think most normal people will be too busy laughing at how stupidly retarded they have made themselves look in that thread while accusing others of low intelligence
