Tell me about it, i had to do thousands of miles in our old 1.6 diesel SW version (the 2.0 16v convertible wasn't great to drive, either).

Currently have a Citroen ZX 16V parked beside my Mk2 Polo, lowered, stiffened and running Pug 205 1.9 GTi rims with some fat tyres. One of only 4 in the country and one of 2 that is still running and not consumed by rust. Generally just used for the ocassional hoon and scaring passengers, very rarely take it out. Also have a Peugeot 205 diesel for lugging my tools around.

Barchetta's an interesting car, haven't seen one in ages - the other convertible is the stunner for me there though, it's the one car that just looks 'right'. Nice.

The Barchetta was ok , it'd been imported to the UK when it was 12months old having done 800miles then the guy who imported it lost the keys and it sat in a garage from 1996 to 2007 , I bought it and used immobilizer ecu , key etc. From a fiat bravo I found in the scrapyard , got it up and running in for MOT and then registered . Had it on the road 3wks and a moped hit me head on ! Resulting in a written off barchetta .

The BM cab was a lovely car but the 328i Sport was the best of the lot ! Just a bit thirsty !

My last, sold it recently...
