Hey selling my bike carb setup off my afh its running great on my engine so should run straight out the box on your engine albeit needing a few tweeks obviously as every engines slightly different.

i have rejetted them from the standard to run near perfect fuelling wise on my engine.

i Drilled the main jets from 135 to 140 properly on the lathe at work.

i also bought new smaller idle jets as it was overfulling on idle these went from 38 to 35 and it idles perfect now.

I made the manifold myself it is properly done has no air leaks on my engine and each runner has a take off for vac for a better signal if using vac advance or for your brake servo.

you will get manifold, carbs, silicone joiner hose, hose clamps, filter socks. spare 145 jets i bought

Had these rolling road set up on my car at a cost of £200 for 2 hours. and new jets cost me around £35

so quite abit of money put into getting them right on my engine but going for turbo now so not needed and need the money to fund turbo or i would keep them.

Hi, i'm very interested in this, just need a few questions...

what do you need to do with regards to the standard ecu? I have a 99 polo 1.4 16v afh (i think thats the right code, pretty sure), so everything you supply i just whip my fannymould off and stick this on, get it RR tuned, and all good to go?

What carbs are they? Did your engine have any other mods?

Yeah Eric I had 145's need they over furled quite abit put these in with a bit of working out and they seemed perfect tbh

And they are cbr600 carbs sorry I forgot to put that and my engine had a 421 SS Mani which is also for sale and the rest was standard.

Not sure bout your ecu but that's covered in the bike carb thread as these were on my afh in my mk2

And you would have to sort a throttle cable and how you feed the fuel to them which is easy enough mate

just out of curiosity what sort of power were you running with these and what other mods did you have?

Dont know what power it was running as my dizzy exploded on the rr when I had it set up so it was stripped and welded to a set curve. But ran amazingly well and acceleration was stupid in it left my dads 1.8t Volvo behind on dual carriage ways

Mods when i was last driving it were:

SS 421 exhaust manifold

Lightened + balanced + knife edged crank

Lightened + balanced flywheel

Semi ported and polished head

Forged conrods

Windage tray

Baffled mk3 sump

Mk3 oil pump and pickup

Alloy radiator

Oil catch tank

Decat

maybe 125-130? very nice, with most of those mods I'm guessing the engine was fairly reliable and solid?
