Volkswagen RCD 510 headunit

Featured Replies

I've got a VW RCD 510 headunit for sale. It's come out of a 2011 Scirocco GT and is in mint condition. It has a touch screen, 6 cd changer, aux input, SD card, and iPod/iPhone connectivity.

I'm after £275 for it and am in south Manchester. It's still in the car at the minute, but will be removed asap.

Ooooh I am looking for something like this - does it have Bluetooth? Surely latest VW's must have?

They do have Bluetooth but they wont fit your 9n3. Different shape.

Not with a bit of a push no? Dammit.

Yes it does have bluetooth, and as far as I'm aware it does fit in a 9n3. I'll try and find out for definite, but there's a video on YouTube with one fitted in a 2009 Polo?

I have seen it bodged (into a MK4 Golf; double din just like the 9n/9n3), so in truth it CAN be done. But its fair bit of work.

Look at the edge profiles.

No worries, good luck finding one! :)

My search for a decent double din unit continues.

VW MFD1. Best OEM double din unit. Bit dated now though compared to all the new-un's.
