Votex gille for sale, comes with the wiring and clips. Also comes with what I believe to be a factory painted black VW badge (quite rare aswell I'd imagine) I never fitted it to my car, lost intrest to be honest.

Sorry I don't have a picture of the grille but I bought it off a Mod on this fourm (MartinB) if you go onto his build thread you'll see pictures of the grille (it's the one with the round spot lamps)

Thanks for your intrest chaps.

I've gotta be up front and tell you a few things about the grille though.

Firstly some of the soldering has come apart so will need redoing.

One of the surrounds for one of the lamps is missing. (not really noticeable from a distance)

The little screws and clips that holds the grille on dont look like there much cop (I was gonna DIY fit it with a few bits from B&Q)

Lastly one of the little holders that the sidelights sits in is missing.

I've gotta be honest, also Darren has first dibs so if he looses intrest I'll let you guys know.

From my experience with the Votex Grilles they shouldn't have sidelights cut into the reflector, these are main beams only - I was a bit bemused when I saw these had been cut into! Also, I too noticed the clips that hold the grille in place were a bit shite, Cable ties should assist here.

I hope this encourages a buyer as it's a grille in relatively good condition!

I think they look proper smart but they have the same problem as the votex grilles... stupidly rare!

I have a Hella grille brand new in the box at my parents. It will be used when I restore a MK3 when i'm about 40 odd.

Also have a brand new Hella grille for my Derby too. One day, one day...
