I'm in Banbury mate, so would really need to be collected

Hi Simon, i've chucked the trolley jack in the rear foot well - forgetting the clocks were in there.. The back of the clocks are smashed, it's made a right mess of the printed circuit. Do you have a set you'd sell?

Really only interested in one with a rev counter, i'd rather bodge Golf clocks in there than go without. And early ones with the choke light would be preferable, given the luxury of choice.

I do have another set of rev counter clocks, but the 'glass' is cracked. I also have an assortment of other clocks too, can't remember if i have another set with choke light. I swapped my original clocks back into the 'loon when I realised that the formel e clocks i had were knackered. Basically i have a whole host of various clocks in a big box. If you can wait, I can bring the lot to the polo show and you can make up a set of from whats there! Or can have a sort through some time if your in a rush and try and put a set together

i have a set of standard clocks which are broken but the glass is good. could use the shell of mine with simons internals. will bring to poloshow if you like

Cheers lads - My casing and glass survived along with the dial/guage units but for the flimsy light bar/ housing on the top with the green strip needs some surgery. It was at least face down on the carpet, but the jack's ripped the circuit sheet and taken out two resistors. I've tried solder but it's just making a mess of the plastic and not bonding to the copper. I only really need the printed sheet but the top part would make life easier too. I have one from a CL with the same map, but it doesn't have the connections punched into it to power the digital clock, so it needs to be one from a unit with this combination (single window rev counter clocks).

This one i have is the later MK2 version without the choke (was from the red '88), so i'd need the led's, symbol strip and circuit sheet from an early coupe-s (or carb MK1 Golf GLS) clock set for that. Not too fussed for the choke version but it'd be nice. Otherwise, just the sheet (and anything else that gets thrown in with it, obviously a complete unit is good, damage or not, and strip it myself if it needs it).

Chuck us your paypal addy and a price, and i'll get straight back to you.

Well you can see from the pictures the visible rot. Then there the rust beneath the trims etc. Not a roling shell as suspension and front hubs are missong.
