finally :) i get a polo haha

Featured Replies

my first car was a wee polo mk3 that i had for 6 months and i loved every minute of it but sadly it went to the scrap man, after that i had a series of different cars and then a few weeks ago decided to sell my beemer and buy a polo :D

bodywork is in not too bad condition all thats wrong with it is it has a bit of rust on the bottom of drivers door and someone keyed letters onto the bonnet but those will be geting sorted out soon

the guy i bought it from put a years mot on it today so no problems there although when driving it home i noticed there was a weird noise coming from the gearbox, when i pressed the clutch all was well and i engaged the gear lifted cluch it sounded like dry barings is all i could describe the noise lol

i will eventually do some mods to it but for now it will do untill i start the project

plans for this will be

16v bumpers

rear lights

clear side and front indicators

16v seats or similar

lowered

and a nice set of alloys or may decide to get a set of g60 steels haha

as I've just picked the car up i only have 1 photo of it but i will post more up in the morning

let me know what you all think

Looks like a nice base.

the gearbox noise will prob be the clutch release bearing

Sounds like the worrying sounds of a failing gearbox... I'd get it checked out!

Nice car got loads of potential :)

its got some potential, get the box checked first though.. will look awesome with valver bumpers and g60s in my opinion
