Legally you need to tell them, but you don't have to make it easy for them to collect or obviously they pay you to send it back to them.

I can't see how thats illegal. Why would you even ask. If a company is stupid enough to send something to someone who's never ordered from them before, then dilligaf. Plus how the hell did they get your details. Get em sold pronto and enjoy some free pints in the sun

You ginger boob :) your link proves you wrong. It states that if you receive something unsolicited after 2000 then you don't have to say shit and it's an offence for the company to then try and invoice you.

Bam. Keep, sell use as a backscratcher. Whatever floats your boat.

Only a complete tit would send it back.

To tubbs saying he would keep hold of 10s and 20s till the end of the day. A wallet fair play that can stay in the lost and found untouched, but finding a lonely note of the floor. That's for the taking. I've left money in the cash machine and walked off, wasn't there, thought well at least it's brightened up someone's day!

Ps he didn't get the same item twice, he got a completely random item

A good friend got sent 2 sets of coilovers for his 6n when he only bought 1 on ebay.. he just sold the second set to me for cheaps after a month or so just to see if he was contacted by anyone, but didn't hear a word! haha everyone's happy!

Ah toby, there's a flaw in you £1 million example. If you get overpaid and they realise, then they have the right to the money back. It happened to a friend. He got overpaid (and he was a dentist, so a fair bit overpaid) and it was noticed. However, it took a few months before it was noticed, and matey boy spent all the extra cash. The pay masters then reclaimed the overpaid money by not paying him for 6 months. imagine how long you'd have to work in co-op to pay the their £1 million back!

Yeah if you get over paid or likewise. You have to give back and a lot of the time they don't even tell you there taking it out. Happened to my mum who got paid 5 grand but she kept quiet about it and didnt spend a penny, luckily she didn't spend anything as a few months later they took it out without even notifying her. I know it's not exactly

Fair but that's the law, a pain the fucking arse
