Outside removing the seats so i can give the carpet a damn good hoover when a haulage lorry goes past and BANG! glass raining everywhere!! Totally covered in it. had the bootlid open and couldnt see till i got up off my hands and knees that the rear windows totally shattered! Pisses me off that now I'm 80quid outta pocket because of my excess and the company who own the lorry just really couldnt give a shit! Totally wrecked my weekend as i doubt itll be repaired today or even this weekend :(

I'm being told monday or tuesday before its replaced which has properly screwed me over financially and socially. need a rear window asap....

That effing sucks man. I was driving down the moterway before doing about 80 when the drivers side window smashed because of a stone that was kicked up by people cutting the grass. If my window was open i probably wouldve crashed bad. STONES SUCK ASS FOR GLASS

I do know chap. i spend my time at work in a 6-wheeler driving round the area. i do know that from past experience and watching other trucks passing my house that the guilty driver deffo wasnt doing 40 :( had he been doing the legal limit, stones wouldnt have been going everywhere.

There's a tornado pink mk3 coupe in the scrapper by us with a good back window in if that's any help?

probably not worth the trip over to derby to pick it up and fit it as new ones coming monday PM :) Autoglass couldnt find any and finally found one in birmingham!!!!

I had real problems getting a rear window for my Polo mate...took me 2 weeks to get one fitted.

Gutted! I'm just annoyed that my whole weekends been ruined now. Oh well...... pubbing weekend it is :)

saw a lovely bay window camper at volksworld today... had a smashed wind screen from a stone being flicked on up on the motorway on the way there :(

Ouch! That glass would be hard to find!

On the bright side, at least you'll have a nice new clean rear screen. :)

Thats the only upside to it. Already pissed off with picking the tiny pieces of glass from out the back of the car! Bloody get everywhere :(

Too late! Seeing as i couldnt do what i wanted to do this weekend, I've cleaned the interior out on a mad mission and all the glass is gone. there'll be more when mr autoglass removes whats left of the rear window which is hardly anything!
