I want to be putting the coupe lower, now will removing the bumpstops cause me too many issues, because when i did this the first time the strut would brounce all over the place in the housing turret, soding the steering geometry with every bloody bump!

any ways to get around this / suggestions?

Sounds like you removed the top mounts not the bump stops

dont completely remove them.

lots of people will now respond saying ''i have and its fine'' but yeah, just chop them down to say 10mm thick, just so you have something to cushion it to avoid bottoming out dampers and getting harsh contact between the damper body and spring top cap
