Hello everybody!

I'm Sam, I'm 19, and I work for a Volkswagen dealership as a Service Advisor.

I previously had a Nissan Juke which was S**T and have sworn NEVER to EVER EVER EVER go back to one of those or back to the brand. It was DREADFUL. The whole experience was shoddy, the car was appallingly built and the service I received from the dealers I used was embarassing. Never again.

But now I've got my nice little Bluemotion 1.2TDI in Candy White from my work which is great and will never let me down. Its got:

-Leather Steering Wheel and Gearstick

-Cruise Control

-Ice Blue Seats

-MDI with RCD510 incl DAB radio

-Armrest

-Electric Windows

-Bury Bluetooth Kit

-Half alloys (Very good idea VW!!!)

-MILLIONS OF MILES PER GALLON.

One problem I've had so far is police thinking the daytime running lights were foglights. Pulling me over for it, argued for about 15 minutes that they WERE NOT foglights, had to eventually stand 5 meters behind the car so he could switch it to 0, walk to the front and check and see if they were on or off. Thats AFTER me showing him the owners manual.

But hey never mind these things happen, its a brilliant little car which I'm averaging 68MPG ish at the moment (slowing increasing) and I'm not a granny behind the wheel. I'm surprised at how nicely it sits at 90MPH on cruise control and will quite happily hit higher 'big car' speeds when I need to overtake, and will never show less than 55MPG!

I don't have any interior pics as of yet, I'll get some soon enough!!

It was a car we had in stock so I didn't get to choose the interior which is annoying, I was never to kean on the blue seats but they do brighten up the cabin and make it feel more airy!

The half alloys are an alloy wheel which is covered on the edge by a plastic trim, this is what the wheel looks like with no trim http://www.honestjohn.co.uk/media/3701505/...ng_term__1_.jpg

Then if you look at my pics its got the trims on, I'll take some pics and post them. Its a very clever idea, makes the car more aerodynamic, and it means if you kerb the wheel you can just replace the trim for £15 rather than a full repair!

Nope they're the same size but its a half plastic half alloy wheel on the outside, the base rim is full alloy though, I'll post pictures!

Love this, really love the Bluemotion grill! I'd be a bit skeptical of a 1.2TDI but I guess VW know best!
