Went to a petrol station this morning that had only 1 open pump. MAX £15, he only let me put some in as I had my Ambulance service ID. :?

Everything seems back to normal here?

I was told the other day that oil prices had dropped fairly dramatically over the last week or so yet pump prices still keep rising, proof that its not just the government ripping us off over fuel

Ye, price here seems to be £1.50 for derv and anywhere between £1.39 and £1.48 for unleaded. :(

At this rate i wont be able to afford fuel for work soon.

The queues seem to have died off here, but there were 3 or 4 security blokes at the asda petrol station near me this morning. It's normally unmanned! It wasn't busy, maybe 1/2 full. I drove straight in and brimmed it. (I'll need to fill up again in a few days). I stuck a fiver in yesterday to get me home at another station and that was business as usual. Got to a pump that only had premium diesel though, £1.55 a litre! :o Otherwise I'd have stuck a tenner in.

Here's what panic buying gets you...
