b3 passat estate glx

Featured Replies

This car has been sat on my drive since october and i haven't been able to part with it, its had antifreeze in over winter started and run until warm once a week since its been parked up handbrake left off so all breaks are free and stored on concrete so no damp seeping up through wet grass, starts first time every time. i would run it myself but my mk2 is now kaput so need to fix that, priced to sell if its not gone in a week or two its going to the scrap yard unfortunately

General

B3 passat on a 'K' 1993 i belive

2.0 8v

glx spec

full electric windows, front and rear

central locking

powersteering

vanity lights in the sunvisor mirrors

no tax/mot until July 2012

its has 197k on the clock, pleace dont be put off by this as it has just had-

new battery

coil pack

plugs

leads

dizzy cap

rotar arm

water manifold

recent tyres

this car runs great, starts on the button, idles well, returns around 45mpg on the motor way and around 32-35 around the city and just eats up motorway miles

modifications

Coilovers

vinyal black roof

alloy wheels(unsure what they are but belive they are from a mx5?!) look sweet all the same

rear tints

black badges

areo wippers

6x9s on a shelf in the rear and a sony headunit

pool ball gear nob

smoked side repeaters

tow bar

interior is in great condition no rips/tears/bolster wear, all in a dark grey colour so no the usual 80s beige!

body work is in fair condition good clean it comes up great, just the odd bump and scrape here and there, small scab of rust on rear arch only surface rust tho and still silver! just bubbling, nothing thats ever bothered me,and still looks very presentable,it is nearly 20 years old and the size of a static caravan!

bad bits

wipers and heater blower only work on full-possibly a fuse/relay

sunroof tilts but doesnt slide- belive to of fallen off the runner

like a say a few parking dings here and there (non from me all from previous owners)

wheels could do with a refurb all are striaght with no curbing just need re polishing ideally

and thats it really, I'm been very picky with these parts all have never bothered me!

located in leeds (ls8) contact me via pm for my contact details

Price - £550

all in all would make a good daily/work horse or would take very little for it to stand out at a show, becoming few and far bewteen these things and they always turn heads at meets etc

Yea it's a great car but unfortunately the want for a mk2 is greater than my want for the passat if I could afford to run 2 cars I would keep it in a heart beat

It's cheap because it needs to go an it's too good to scrap

carnt scrap it dude.. will be in touch if the polo sell,as would need extra caash to tax her etc..

if it doesnt sell i'yll ave some bits off it 8-)

Can't see it not selling with the interest in it at the min! But If not ill give you a shout! Think you saw it at Vw festival last year I do the graffiti display there and had it parked up, you do the pin stripping? With the crazyyyy b3! Haha

I've had people offering me £300 for this car I'm not been funny but I can drive it straight to the weigh bridge and get £350 for it and keep the wheels

Lowest I'm willing to go is £500 and it's worth that all day long
