H reg golf mk2 gti 16v long mot & tax swap why?

Featured Replies

Hi all,I am just seeing whats out there either for sale or swap.

I have a H reg mk2 golf gti 16v 5dr in tornado red,It has mot until december and tax till end of july or maybe longer. Its a good honest standard car apart from lowering kit and borbet c rep alloy wheels. It has power steering and electric windows and the usual mk2 stuff.

It clean up and shines nice for a red one and always gets complimented on for tidyness,Its got 166k on the clock but has had an engine rebuild just before i purchased it and has only done around 4k if that since then.

I currently have this insured on a classic for £151 via peter james

Price wise i would accept £1700 or would be interested in a swap for something else vw but it would need to be 1991 or older for my classic policy.
