watched half last night, will finish it in my lunch break today, not very well edited doco but like you said, has some interesting stuff!

reminds me of an article in pvw where a guy in germany was running a group b spec audi S1, i forget the exact details, but imagine running something like those monsters on the road, would be a hell of a thrill and turn some heads for sure

You could'nt beat the sound of SWB Quattro popping and banging or the Lancia 037 screaming at 3 in the morning in the middle of Kielder forest, happy days :-) :-) :-)

I'm guessing that he's taking a bus everywhere now? I can't imagine anybody's license lasting very long with a group B car on the road.

i bet i could dig it out, the car was quite insane, can only assume that it was saved mainly for track days etc, and must have been some concessions on the spec to keep it legal.

Just watched it, very good

Reminded me of 'Senna' the film/documentry.... everything was a bit crazy motorsport wise in the late 80's/90's

Take a car, consume lots of drugs, make the car incredibly silly

Gotta feel sorry for the people hurt/killed during that time but that spectator that was trying to blame Joaquim Santos for crashing into the crowd is fucking stupid. So what if he wasn't experienced in the car, if people weren't stepping out in front of him while he was driving at speed he would never of had to try to avoid them and lost control. Some of the people in the crowds shown on that were really trying their best to prove Darwin right

I was lucky enough to start spectating just before the end of Group B. It was great.
