The time has come to sell my polo which i have owned about 2 years, the car is known and has been on the forum since at least 2006 here is a previous owners thread http://www.clubpolo.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=30056. I have looked after this car and put alot of time and effort into it. Will be sad to see it go but the time has come and my insurance is due soon and need rid as have my eye on a new car and may have a new job soon which involves alot of miles. Heres the spec as follows:

Good points: Clean car for 20 year old, Mods are as follows:

Exterior:

Genuine g40 fogs, 3/4 colour coded bumpers, bonnet bra, Englemann mirrors (rare) Rh cups 14" been told there quite hard to come by with stretched tyres, mk3 golf style door handles, G40 rear lights, tinted front headlights and front inicators, colour coded spoiler, smooth boot i.e polo badge holes deleted, rear wiper hole deleted, boot plynth colour coded and delocked, boot popper fitted wired up to rear wiper stalk, wind deflectors,pressed plates, tinted rear quarters and boot, aero blade wipers, de badged grill.

Interior:

Black carpet, Black door cards, black parcel shelf, Interior switches and dials converted to blue looks nice, red audi cigerrette lighter, mk3 golf interior light dimming mod, gt clocks with with dial faces and blue needles, audi window handles, alloy pedal covers (not chavy) chrome door pins, corrado front AND rear seats in good condition much nicer looking and hold better than gt seats etc, roof lining sprayed black, black sunvisors, vw logo gear knob, gt steering wheel.

Steering, Brakes, and Suspension:

Front and rear strut braces, Had a new tca fitted last year, Unsure what height its at but I'm going to take a guess at 80/80, Gaz adjustables on the front fitted last year, ebay type rear lowering shocks and springs, new top mounts fitted, new inner and outer cv boots, new front bearings.

Engine: Really clean engine bay, 1.3 spi, Cambelt done about 2010, chipped, new fuel filter,Golf air filter body to replace the pancake original with air filter right behind the grill to get most air possible, SS four branch manifold de cast with nut for o2 sensor, powerflow ss from manifold all the way back with nice 3" rolled tip tail pipe (not too loud) Have done a compression test and all 4 cylinders read 150, new expansion tank with fresh coolant using G12++, new thermostat and housing, new blue temp sensor, new plugs (bosch 3 electrode type) new leads, new rotor arm and cap, new radiator, all earth straps have been replaced with nice chunky ones, recent oil change, heater matrix has been modified so the vents inside blow of nice hot air! 5l washer bottle deleted and replaced with Renault 5 with twin working pumps in bulkhead, 6n rocker cover and engine cover, Charcoal canister deleted.

Transmission: New clutch kit fitted Christmas 2010, Gt gearbox.

Ice: No stereo will be including unless i can find one i have lying around, twin sub and amp and wiring kit can be left in the car for an extra fee? Upgraded front speakers. Remote central locking.

Bodywork:

Since i have owned the car i have regularly washed, clayed, polished and waxed it and always getting rid of tar spots. I have had the boot smoothed (properly welded and filled oveer the top, never cracked or nothing) and painted, and bumpers 3/4 colour coded, the bodywork is in good condition for the age, there is the usual mark here and there and a couple of rust spots but nothing major that isnt expect for a car this age. Also replaced the tank in the process i had a second hand tank all cleaned up of all rust, filler neck strengthend, red oxide, primered, hammerite the lot.

I saw this in the flesh last night and I have to say it is proper sweet

This would be perfect for anyone that doesn't currently have to time to mod a car and wants something for the show season its ready to roll

Viewing is a must been properly looked after and he is a really decent guy to deal with.

very nice car glws mate, how did you modify your heater matrix cos my side vents blow cold air all the time :/

out of curiosity, where did you get those wind deflectors? been looking for some for a while with no luck :(

on another note this looks awesome and if i had the cash i would have this :(

There is a guide on here or polo3 how to do the matric mod, you pull the matric out which is easy, split it and silicone in a piece of plastic in to block the hole at the bottom of the matrix job done :) Ermm wind deflectors are Heko and i think i got them off german eBay, Ask your friends lads if anyone is interested :)
