I'm wound all the way down on the front on TA technix , but I need more lows, what other coils are available that go lower, what are you guys running ?

You're probably on the spring aids, cut them down

Lop a coil or two off, cut bumpstops and possibly heat the springs and compress? Depends how much you want lows yo!

What car is it? As mentioned if you haven't chopped the bump stops down then you will need to do this as your car will currently be sitting on them

All of the simple things seem to of been mentioned already, if more lows are needed after that then its time to get the fabricating shit out

Take out bump stops completely, take out helpers and then drop it completely.....You will need a chassis notch as well!

We use a system at work where we use no damping dampers, disconnect ARB's and run short spring aids, to find suitable spring rates for the front and rear of car, we run virtually no spring aid so it doesn't interfere with the travel or feel, but never none, as contact between top mounts or dampers and body is not good, they're there for a reason! I'd definitely run with something between

Took mine out a long time ago and made no difference at all on budget coilovers like TA Technix...

shouldnt effect the ride if you never get to the point of contact, but still it's a stupid idea, even having something like 10mm thick to absorb some shock from being directly transmitted to body is better than nothing.

There's a difference between doing something and being fine, and doing things properly.

Tis why I probably wouldn't buy a readily modded car unless I knew who'd done it.

Bump stops are there to stop the damper bottoming out, take them out and run properly low and there's nothing helping to prevent your shocks smashing themselves to death

Or crackin the body etc.

I've got a 10mm bumpstop... helpers removed... etc... only way to get low-ish on Budget coil's :)

Seems a good resort in my eyes, depending on what car and if there is the room.

Go lower and gain suspension travel and not ride on bumpstops.

As Previously stated, Last Resort....

More work to move turrets instead of mounting brackets

much easier ways to get foolish lows without turret raise and still have thread/stops.
