6n Polo SE

Featured Replies

So picked this up off of a forum member, 1.4 8v

Has seats, steering wheel and gearknob from a 6n2

Have 6n2 rear lights on the way as well as orange fronts.

Shall be removing the rear wiper at some stage but completely undecided on a debadged grill. Also after a 6n2 GTi splitter.

Next thing shall be deciding wheels and a small drop. As much as I'd love to slam it on its arse on coilys, unfortunately the gf has to drive it so...........

Slow couple of months as have been sorting a few small niggles and repairs but here's the Polo as it stands atm

002.jpg

Have changed the front indicators and side repeaters to amber versions, fitted a set of front fogs coated with lamin-x and picked up a set of headlight protectors from a car boot for a fiver!

Since this pic have also colour coded the front grill

003.jpg

Have also de-wipered the rear and fitted a set of 6n2 rear lights

001.jpg

Also picked up a set of 16v alloys with tyres very cheap as were in need of a refurb, and are just awaiting final coat of paint. Once they're on it's onto sorting out the 4x4 ride height!

Also, re-trimming the headlining this month.

Nowhere near the level of some on here, but it's a little project and gives me something to do at the weekends.

Thanks for looking

The paint looks immaculate! Plus the colour coded grill looks pretty good actually.

Thanks, had a hefty bit of inspiration off of a silver 6n on here with a colour coded grill. Tis a nice subtle change but will leave the bumper grills black.

I need to give the paintwork a bit of clay action at some point but it's clean enough for now.

Developed a bit of a weap from the gear change oil seal last week so changed that this week. There's only one minor fault left to fix off of my list and that's the NSR shock weeps slightly, but shall sort that when it gets some lows :-)

Also finally finished refurbing my 16v alloys, along with some new badges for the centre caps, and they're on

Admittedly not for long as possibly have some Revolution RFX 5 spokes on the way. Then I have to sort out the comedy ride height......

Been a very long time since an update but she's still running. Now on SPAX adjustables and Baby G60s with 25mm hubcentric spacers on the rear
