Damaged in transit? You're not kidding. Was the guy who delivered it in a van or did they drop it out of a plane?

Today I had my first nurburgring experience, consisting of 3 flying laps in a prototype v8 F type on a slightly damp track with a professional racing driver... Hate my job

Ain't glamorous, but I do what I choose, when I choose, how I choose. How many people can truly say that about their job?

I'm currently studying to be a social worker to go on to working within homes protecting vulnerable kids and in a prison/with young offenders etc :)

I used to work for a ford dealer ( local family run)

But now I work with vulnerable adults and children

As a support worker, the pays better and it's better working than

A freezing cold garage lol and as fords labour rate was so high we never

Got any interesting work in just little bits and warranty repairs :/

I work at an alternative energy company called Ceres Power in Horsham, making Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (Hydrogen Fuel Cells)

The works pretty gash but i put up with it

Used to be a marshal at a local karting track and taught kids how to race, was fun but had to give it up for a real job.
Stuck in an office now doing finance.

I get to drive as fast as I feel is safe in my ambulance and sometimes I get police escorts :)

Just been away doing some testing, got a train to mid France, then drove down to Spain to here:

2075911b00b034cf7dd4d361156b653e_zps5ba3

Which is Idiada, a massive automotive test centre, loads of different manufactures and types of test circuits etc, really cool place. Spent just over a week there then drove up to here..

Which is Ladoux, one of the Michelin test centres, primarily to use their wet handling circuit, but also the dry one too, which was pretty good fun, then headed up to Germany for a few days here..

Which obviously is the ring, wanted to go there for years and had chance to go round in some awesome cars with some professional race drivers, also did some autobahn testing there.

Driven a few thousand miles, been in a variety of cars and to some really cool places, great variety, learnt a lot and there's constant opportunities to go other places too, currently loving it......I'm sure the novelty wears off eventually though!

Are you a tester then Yaris?

Technician/tester yeah

This friday I'm being pudsey the bear!

I'm a sixth former studying Chemistry, Physics and German, hoping to go on to study Chemistry and Law at Uni with the ultimate goal of being either a barrister or a research chemist :-)
