i have had a busy week this week!

had a traction motor issue on a power car, so had to remove the whole bogie :

also my mentors locomotive has finally arrived on depot. its a class 52 locomotive. old skooool! has 2x v12 maybach engines, powaaar

built in 1963. those plates would be worth ALOT of money!

here is a spare engine i have been building up for it. at this stage i was pressing in the new cylinder liners.

and check out the size of the rods and pistons next to my hand for comparison

i have a few jobs to carry out on it, such as modifying the pre-heater system, fitting windscreens and changing one of the bogeys over to this new one:

also been doing some work on this old shed

well, i was unemployed up until thursday... now i have a job at a tesco 20 miles away, for 2 hours a week... :/ basicly, i change the game, DVD and CD charts on the shelves every monday and make sure the tesco bank stuff is all upto date for 2 hours on a monday morning, but they gave me a company phone... :-D not even a shit phone, a HTC, so its not all bad, ill try and get some pics tomorrow during my training

Ironically, me too! Haha. I was unemployed for 3 months now I work at tesco on produce topping up the carrots. (joke, all fruit, veg, salad.) I don't do 2 hours a week though, I wouldn't even bother turning up for that shit! I'm currently on 18 hours a week (2 shifts) and a sweet £600pm for 2 shifts a week, EASY MONEY!

I Work in IT support, hours are good although there is alot of traveling, Great thing about working in IT though is you can practically work from anywhere aslong as you have your mobile on you :)

P.s Usually at work we balance water on our heads for fun, or see who can throw the ball in the bin, other than that we have Picnics..... Now anyone working in IT will know what a Picnic or ID10T is :)

Work at a local engineering company, making the bits for the machines that make the bits that go into cars, cranks, cams and various cast pieces of pipework, no pics ATM though, must concentrate when pissing about with 8.5k of very scratchable purple aluminium
