really surprised me that i haven't done this yet on here

been on here for a while and finally putting a build thread up of my current daily

its a 1988 mk2 hatchback with a 1989 coupe s engine in it lowered around 80 mm on shocks and springs just kinda doing my own thing to it

this is as it was when i got it in march 2010 :

(yes that is two other polos on the driveway the green one,s bottem end had gone and the grey coupe s major frontal damage)

with in a day had removed the steels and had it running on 2 mk2 polo hockenheims and 2 golf tarantulas (only because the other 2 hockenheims had buggered tyres)

then got a bit bored of running it like that so of came the hockenheims stripped them removed all the kerbing marks on the and

then got bored and decided to limo black the rear windows

then on a trip to my local scrappy picked these up for a treat:

a pair of golf leather front seats

only paid £20 for the pair but that was because of

dreaded rip in the drivers seat

drove it around like that for a while then unfortunatly due to lack of funds she came off the road due to lack of tax, mot and insurance and whilst working on my exhaust had a mate pop over and found out that my rear suspension had been put together wrong (previous owner) the bottom suspension cap/spring seat was upside down so off came the rear suspension and discovered that i could go lower so guess what :

then took the rear window out to tint that and noticed why my boot was getting wet:

so luckily had a spare boot hanging around

and within a day smoothed it and matt blacked it :

hen decided to empty the back out and rebuild it

and now this is how she currently sits

ok bit of an update cars sufferd damage over the past few months, had it parked outside work and went to go home to discover this:

some frigging retard had reversed into the car wasent happy about this as you could probably understand.

got a bit bored so went out for a drive armed with my new phone :

then got bored with the roof rack so off it came:

the got a new set of rear lights :)

and a few weeks ago heading to a local meet had to avoid an idiot in what i think was a pug and got a bit wedged :

but luckily didnt cause any damage

then decided to restart smoothing the rear bumper:

and still ongoing with that process

and am currently keeping an eye on these :

main question i have at the moment is where can i get lowering topcaps from as want to drop the front down a bit more but dont have the budget for coilovers

bit more of an update on this unfortunately didnt win the wheels :( bloody annoying ,

but cars changed a bit again got bored at work and decided to do this:

(dont worry bumper will be going back on eventually when I've finished smoothing it(not as easy as i first thought lol)

but just wondering what you guys think?
