Hi guys and gals I am looking to sell my Clio to help fund another car I am after. The car is a MK1 Clio 1.8 16v and is a great reliable quick little hot hatch. The cars handle like they are on rails and go great, also driven like a nice person can get quite good MPG. The car is in great condition but this is a 1995 car and so does have marks as you expect. However this is a car that is only going up in price which is even better.

Now onto more details about the Clio.

Good:

Paint is great except from a few exceptions such as corner on tailgate and small bit on drivers side arch ( see pictures )

This car did me around 1000 miles in just a few days the other month and did it with ease and reliability.

It has Williams clocks, carpet and belts. It also has a lovely comfy Renault grey leather interior, but the drivers bolster stitching has come undone. Would not take much to actually take out and restitch but i use daily and so haven't had the time to do so.

The engine back is pretty tidy and clean has had the coolant changed around a month ago. The oil is still fresh and clean as had a cam-belt change last November when the prev owner took it off the road. i do not have receipts for this but the prev owner is a very good friends family member and assured me was done. i also checked this and the belts doesn't look old at all.

Lovely sounding stainless exhaust, not too loud and brash and poppy. Good burble when wanted.

It does have electric windows, sunroof and mirrors

Bad:

The pass side electric window sticks as there is glue residue from taking window tints off.

The sunroof mech has been chucked as it was not worked, a new motor is pennies on eBay.

One of the wing mirrors does not move, I haven't even looked at this as moving the glass around is not something i ever need to do.

The parcel shelf was chucked when got the car as it was falling to pieces and looked a mess, again pennies on eBay.

Although I bought the car in January I have not received the v5 doc from the DVLA. I have just sent of the green slip and a v52 form to get it and then be able to sign over.

There are a few small dents on the corner of the tailgate ( see pictures ) and also a bit of paint missing on drivers side rear arch, however the arch is solid.

few other paints chips on such things like the front wings where the prev wheels used to catch on the arch on full lock, these are plastic though so not going to be rusting any time soon. Also a chip off the drivers side door ( see picture )

That is about it from me, i have gone into details that I know about the car and over this past 4-5 months of ownership I have utterly loved this car and it has served me well. However times change and I am looking for more.
