My New Polo

i am currently not useing this, its sort of a project, i am still useing my orange 6n2 and i am getting the GTI

done for the 13th hopefully but defo ready for spring gti feast :)

MK5 6N2 GTI 1.6 16valve

1 previous woman owner

full vw service history

great condition other than knackerd gearbox

spare key and service books the lot

Things i have done so far

New gearbox

new audi r8 oil cap

new sump plug

New clutch

new water pump

new tensioners

new rocker cover bolts

new exhaust gaskets

new oil cooler gasket

new throttle butterly gasket

new pollen filter

new oil filter

new fuel filter

new air filter BMC CDA

new clutch oil

all new belts (cam belts both and alternator belt)

sold the old dirty gti lights and brought some new black fk angel eyes

left to do:

get the engine back in

engine oil.. not sure which yet might use morris

try get 10 people to sigh up to get a silicone hose kit made up see in the engine buy section

get some bodywork donw now the engine is mint

possibly chip

get a few parts of the engine polished (alternator, air con etc)

leather the interiour hate the number 1 lol

jetex exhaust as i like how they look just dont like loud ones

new manifold

new double din sat nav sterio (oem)

get fridge and ps3 in boot

upgrade all speakers

COILOVERS or AIRBAGS just not sure what i want

deep dish alloys hopefully bbs

first thing i did was remove the engine and gearbox

got it onto a stand :) and also got the new gearbox

started to strip and clean the engine :)

painted the new gearbox :)

New items

vht clear engine enamel/base coat/coulour coat (anodised purple)

new audi r8 oil cap

new sump plug

New clutch

took out carpet and dyed it black, makes it look so much better and clean :)

also found £8.23 2 pencil and a brush lol

painted a few other things and started to put all back together :)

also fitted all the new blets, water pump, oil filter gaskets :)

Ahaha nope i like to be different aha,

Would paint the whole car but want to keep it original as possible lol!

Just got a few problems ATM possible starter motor and smt else :(

The engine turn over itself even when you just turn the ignition on and can even take the key out and it keeps trying to start to stop it turning over have to disconnect battery :/ and also not getting a spark :(

Brought a vag con fault reader and got my dads mate from rac comein :)

i like the gearbox colour bud, might look into it myself as putting a gti lump in on the weekend in my 6n2 1.4, so might go for somthing crazy, did you use a gun on it, or just light spraying mists

No mate brought it all from America, it's really light mist, you have to use anodised base coat which makes it shiny, I will give you the details if you want them, they do loads of different anodised coulours, I went on eBay and just brought 1 litre of midnight black carpet dye, messy job tho lol wear gloves I stained my hands for 2 weeks Ahaha, just use a hard paint brush and brush it on make it look so much better,

Got the engine running after, spending a fortune on parts and it turning out to be a bloody fuse :@

Brought a vagcom to help me out in future,

But it is misfireing now, checked the leads coil and plug, just the injector left to check now but it started hammering down and I'm sick of being in the rain doing this lol,

Really annoying me now just wanna be able to drive it, just hopein that it is gonna be ready for gtifest but ain't looking good ATM :(

all back together :)

engine is perfect now, had to change all of the rockers as one has slipped off causing a misfire, changed the crank and cam sensor too.

all done now tho, just time to getbthe bmc fitted and get some alloys and coilovers :)

got new track rod ends,

new oil breather as the old one was a right mess, and changed the pollen filter, still gotta put the new fuel filter on

and got the tracking done :)

and finaly changed all the speakers to jbl ones :)

need to get my aircon regassed, anyone no where the best place to get it done is?

changed the bulbs from normal to led :)

not 100% happy with them atm tho as the hid is 5000k and is pure white and the leds are slight blue even tho they said white lol but they will do for now

also took all the front end off and relined it all as wasnt happy but now all sits bang on :)

coilovers soon (just cheep ones to start with)

also got a set of black leather door cards waiting to go in when the wheather is better :)

the car is now being broke for parts as a lady pulled out on me :(

bumper is fucked lights the brackets are broke, radiators broke,

everything else is fine and for sale see car breaking section
