hello all, been on here a while. so bout time i started a little thread. :-D

cant find out how to upload photo's, did see a thread once but cant find it :x so hopefully a link straight to my photobucket should work.

anyway, i got my R reg 1.0L polo back in october, first car :D in the photo bucket you can see it standard ride hight on some alloys. first things i did was service it, full service history upto 96k, then owned by a mechanic upto its 108k of today, 3 owners from new. i then sprayed up the alloys, a kind of orange colour :ninja: and put it on 40mil lowering springs(another photo off it on springs and new colour wheels) shortly after some coilovers come up on ebay very cheap very close, brand new, so i quickly snapped them up :-) i then lowered her on them, next things i did was painted my tatty bonnet black with black board paint (quite cool to write on with chalk). shes now on G60 steels (looking to sell) got myself some 6n2 rears and 16v bumpers in process off prep.

planns to do :

get 16v bumpers finished

re do my headlining

find some nice seats

look more into a valver conversion

tidy up the body work (one bad arch)

hope you all enjoy, and hope to find out how to upload photo's

alex :D

headlining done + refitted, forgot to get pics. clear front indicators + bonnet bra fitted. new riimage trailed too. all photos in my bucket :ninja:

wish someone would show me how to upload them straight on here

All the photos have a box next to them on photobucket saying HTML code etc etc click the link inside the box that copy image and paste it into the comment box on here it's the bottom one out of the 4 links I'm on my phone so best I can do to help at the moment.

Best of luck and get the photos up

If you click the IMG code it will automatically copy the link, then just post it in your post.

Good to see you received the clear indicators OK!

thinking off either getting the car resprayed. cant really affor it, but i can save. either that or do a paint job myself instead. matt or satin. a matt purple or cream? what do people think? ;)

You could probably leave the paint job til last and get it sitting properly first? I made this mistake before

I'm changing the wheels i think 13s are to hard to pull off on 6Ns. the roads are shocking round here too. so looking into some 14" prob 15"s :-)

Clutch has gone! Mot's out soon. Needs a few things etc so I'm having her off the road as abit of a project. Bigger engine, sort the bodywork etc.

Just a quick note I'm pretty sure your pressed plates are illegal.

Should have the required BSAU145d number & manufactures details (name and postcode, usually at the bottom in small in the centre and the BSA number is usually at the bottom right again small).

Thought id let you know so you could get them sorted before its back on the road :)

Na I think they are mate. Their are numbers stamped in them small. If you look at the pictures you can see them one lot in the top right. They should be anyway as the ebay shop I bough them off Guaranteed they were 100% legal. They'd surely be in a lot of trouble otherwise :-s. But I'll double check they are! Cheers for the heads up though mate!

Isn't that colour a primer? I'd say keep the paint it has at the moment just wash it and them wheels would look nice on it (in silver/brown/black) don't like neon colours.
