just bought some p slots that are running 185/60/14s and the backs are scrubbing on every bump and pot hole.

they are 14x6j et38

the car is at standard height but i was hoping to lower it 40mm all round.

i am currently on the lookout for some 165/45/14s or 165/40/14s but not having much luck!

are there any other sizes i could get away with??

I ran some 14" steels on my mk2 breadvan with 185/60 tyres and arches needed rolling.

My paintwork is no good so just did mine carefully with a hammer otherwise you would need an arch roller and a heat gun to stop the paint cracking :)

mine runs 165/60 14s et38 and is down 40/40 with no rubbing issues.

hears of some 175s fitting depends on brand etc i think.
