Casually driving down the Motorway as you do in the middle lane in the pissing down rain, next thing I know i'm drifing at 70 while the tyres are screeching, lorry to the left of me somehow and thank god I didn't spin! Somehow managed to get it over to the hard shoulder, upon inspection everything seemed fine... Managed to crawl back to the Services at 30 on the hard shoulder, got there and the rear drums were steaming and it absouletly STANK. Burning kinda smell... So that's the end of my tale...

could be a shoe lining has come away and wedged itself into the other shoe causing the wheel to lock ?

No thank god lol, got home at around half 1 lastnight, rescue truck got there at 12 o'clock 4 hours after we broke down lol.

The verdict: New Sub Axle and Bearing Needed... Somehow the sub axle has welded it's self to my bearing and it took about an hour to get the hub off, which can be saved thank god!
