Yorkshire Three Peaks

Featured Replies

I'm walking the 3 highest Peaks in Yorkshire in July, thats over 2150m of climbing and 26miles to cover in less than 12hours.

If you could spare five minutes and a few quid, please follow the link below.

No matter how small amount it may be, every little helps and it's all going to a good cause. :)

Many Thanks.

I don't think it went through dude..

Anyways, on Sunday I took my mates (who've never done any walking before) on a 'practice hike' - I got them prepared with all the nessesary gear and warned them that it's not a walk in the park.

The walk I planned to do was 13miles and had about 800m of climbing involved, needless to say, they all fell at the first hurdle.. dumping their bags into mine as their shoulders hurt and simply refused to continue after just five miles. :doubt:

So I guess it looks like it'll just be me going solo in July to concour the Three Peaks so I need all the sponsors I can get guys! Thanks.

Continuing to train hard for this. Splashed out on new boots, hiking bag and suitable socks last week.

Third practice walk set for this time next week.

Half way to my target of £250 raised for British Heart Foundation.

Please donate to a good cause.
