Woolys Red 9n: Ups n Downs!

Featured Replies

Looking good I have the same colour polo and was thinking of adding fog lights, how easy was it though :)

To add front bottom bumper fogs on a 9n is simple - New grills with fog lamps off Ebay! then it should be a simple route of plug and play with there (should) already be the loom their!... (as i have been told)

Check by removing the front grills (Simple the clip out) then the wiring loom should be tucked up somewhere in the front bumper. If not then you'll need to wire them into the car with a separate switch or linked to the rear fogs..

Haynes manual it!!

Wooly spray them man ;) Look boss then, even if they are winter wheels!

Haha if only,

As said to need the fogs and the grilles to go with. I don't think they were as easy as Liam makes it sound.

First off I bought a euro light fog switch so, it looks the same as the standard but has an extra bit to pull out for front dogs the rears too. This is the proper way.

For wiring I gave it to an auto electrician to make it safe and fitted right. So he wired It off the battery and has hooked it up to my dash lights switch :).

Sure you could do it Liam's way but my ways more practical and subtle.

And naa I really CBA to mate. I don't have effort or time :/ unless yo want to do them for me for free? Hehe

I didn't have a clue, Only saying what i was told :L (Sorry)

But matey Be cheaper if you were to do them your self :L Cost of sending them to me then £50 for paint and then sending them back :L.

But i would :)

Standard ride height figures for you bud!!

Front from centre of wheel to arch: 360mm

From ground to sill: 200mm

Rear from centre of wheel to arch: 380mm

From ground to sill: 220mm

These are based on 14" steels with 165/70R14s on so may differ with bigger wheels. Hope it helped (Bit slow sorry)
