my name's Callum and I hail from just outside Manchester nr. Oldham!

I'm sorta new round these parts although I have been floating on and off here for a few years as my girlfriend used to have a polo and my friends have had vw's too

I was a die hard Ford man until I recently went in search of a runaround and picked up this (pictures of when I picked it up in the dark on an iphone - pics were doomed from the get go lol):

it's a 98 6n valver in fjord blue(??) I think it's called, lovely colour, only 80,000 on the clock, was very chuffed

the car was ok tbh, it had coilies, some alloys, big ass air filter and a booming stereo which I like more than I thought I would.

anyways, a bit of money spent later and I now have fitted 6N2 rear lights and some black g60 wheels which look miles better... PICS! :

short term plans are:

fit centre caps when they arrive

lower it a bit further

fit badged grill when I get round to it with badge sprayed black

spray rear badge black

upgrade headlights for depo units and fit HIDs...

that's about it for now, once MOT is out of the way I will start on the interior and kick off the project properly, never owned a show car so that is where I want to head with this over time :)

I am happy to say I am a VW guy now... I have always had a soft spot for them and even though this was only supposed to be a runaround I have fallen in love with it lol

anyway, I will upload as and when I do anything, ta for reading :)

Looks like a clean base car! Always loved that colour on polos! Definitely not the most common! Plans sound good too, looking forward to seeing progress on this

thanks guys! they are only beginning plans, it's a daily runaround for now but will hopefully change roles over the next year or so lol

anyway, couple of dirty pics from today, nothing much just showing the badged grill really and because I can... ha.

front needs desperately lowering and when these ridiculous storms quit I will do it lol also need to get my black badge on the rear

hopefully my centre caps will arrive soon too lol got a couple of interior ideas to play around with too including building a prettier sub box

also want to band the steelies in the future.
