Mk3 G40, Pearl Grey

A random purchase, and never destined for the outside of the car. It's covering a big dent and some rusty bolt holes (Hammerited)

it will do for now, need the car as its my daily, so had to bosh everything back on at silly o'clock last night

What did you use on the rocker cover?

Looks like it could come up a bit better than that :)

And for all it takes to pull it off again, may aswell have it shining!

Its no where near done mike, used 180 grit, then gave 2 minutes with 2000 grit and polished it as it was getting late :)

loving this mate, keeping a close eye on it!

Replaced the right hand side boost pipe with a new samco hose, little big diameter wise but it holds boost fine

Done a little today:

Gave her a good clean, comes up well with a bit of elbow grease :D

Since i took the car to have to exhuast done (when the cat shit its self) the mani-downpipe joints been blowing, turns out they had snapped a bolt, and later today a bolt just disapeared, so as you would suspect she sounds like a tractor, new manifolds in the pipeline already (legend aka saf).

Treated her to some new number plates today aswell

No pictures though

well today didnt go well

without going into to much detail, I changed the manifold and its still blowing like a biatch.

If anyones had to change a exhuast mani on a g40 before they know how much of a ball ache it is!

Big thanks to saf for; letting me use the unit, the manifold, and giving me a hand :unibrow:, and pidge for the advice

BMW, scrap, whaaa?

Extreme bro, but fair play! Be clean as a whistle.

I'll have a good nosy at Stanford :)

Wahey maintenance! Nice. As Saf said, get Ad to come round with his huge breaker bar. That bar has tightened my engine mount till it snapped clean off haha. Should sort it out.

I feel like I'm missing out on all the mk3 fun stuck down here at uni. I want to come play! Miss you guys.
