just brought few more bits today another stage 4 charger thats just been rebuilt worked out cheaper than sending mine off to jabbasports. Also some bigger injectors 250cc and a chip to suit :)

Love how its missing the drivers side suspension top cover.

Boost return always blows them off

Not a bad example mate.

I took the covers off my red MK3 and drove down the road a mile an heard this thing fly off under my car an looked in my mirror and went F**K IT !! :( haha.

Cheeers :D

i took my black plastic covers off the top of the struts as to avoid them falling blowing off or rattlenig arround in the engine bay

Heads off the engine, camshaft and hydraulic followers are out just need to find the right valve spring compressor tool as mine different. Just need to get then out so I can start cleaning. properly send the head off to get skimmed first. Then buy head bolts, head gasket and cam followers then I can but the other cam in.

Ordered two new wings from eurocarparts as they where going cheap should be here next week.

Good going mate, i've at the same point engine wise apart from my heads already been sent off! Have a look on my build thread I've got the ECP wings on, only problem is the off side one gives an un even panel gap

Done a bit more work today took the valves out the engine to see what condition they were in and the exhaust valves are a bit pitted :(. So iam gunna be sending the head with valves off to be skimmed and reseating the valves. I can't be assed to reseat them and I've had enough boredom at working doing 6 cylinder engines haa (12 of the bastards !)

Also took all the wiring out the engine bay as well as some other bits and bobs. Was going to take the steering rack of and thought how the fudge am I meant to get that on a trailer haa so left it on. Gunna take it off at a l8r data to clean and paint up.

Got my new wings from euro car parts as they were going cheap. Wasn't going to pay £93 per wing ! from VW plus there on back order and they said could take 3 day or 6months so gave that a miss. took only over a week for my wings to come but wasnt really fussed as they came in the end ha

Also should have my head back next Wednesday :)
