Hey all very very long time since an update because paint shop guy been busy doing other campers an vws and only just start the last couple of weeks ago on my car at last !!! Haa o well dry storage at the end of the day :)

been a little while since last update but lots have been done !! now xmas an new years out the way (drinking to much) haaa . Most of you might reamber the green 6n g40 ?? well i brought that a few months ago to have a bit of fun missing the g40 power haa. so the engine has come out that going into my white one because its done half the milage !! then got big plans for the engine to go bak in to the green 6n :P

anyways heres a few pictures

while i had the engine out i changed the cam to a piper cam, and cambelt, camshaft seal as it was pissing out.. and engine oil an filter :) also cleaned up my old g40 gearbox

You like your gs. The 6n was a nice g40.

yerr love the things :) once the white g40 is done on too the 6n got lots to do with that.

engine is in now :) not far off from running it up just having proplems with the manifold hitting the ARB...... few more bits on new cv boots etc let the pictures do the talking again :P

just offering a few more bits up. had to ditch the 4 to 1 manifold so putting standard one back on for now. new rad from euro car parts £28 bargin !!! anyone know where i can get a new rad housing where the fan sits on mines looking a bit worst for wear?? getting the slowly just doing bits an bobs when iam free hopefully will be on the road before ulitmate dubs

Is it the correct rad? I remember a while back they were supplying non g40 rads as g40 ones as I ended up paying about £100 from vw to get the correct one.

That green 6n G40 was at the RR either last year or year before but didnt seem to get good power iirc 130 ish .... I dont know if it wasnt set up right or something. Looks like your doing a good job thought !

as I've been so busy and weather has been so shit every time i wanna bring the polo out the garage I've decided to take next week off to crack on with it!! so touch wood should be up and running soon :)
