I have the 9n3 GTi & I've read quite a lot that you can fit straight on the audi tt 312mm brakes on front.

I rung up audi dealer today and a mate rung a few places he gets his parts from with him being in the trade and both said that they sell a lot for the polo's and many come back because there are different types of calliper carriers or something?

Has anybody got a website with the exact ones which I would need?

My mate has TT brakes up front on his A3

I looked into it for my 9N sport , From what i saw i would need gti hubs then the calipers and carriers went straight on or so i've heard

You will be better off checking on places like briskoda.net and seatcupra.net for advice on this conversion as the Fabia VRS and Ibiza FR, etc are the same as the 9n polo. There are lots of discussions about this upgrade on both those forums

If you have 288mm front discs you already have the right hubs you just need different carriers and calipers. The flexi lines are also different.

If you only have 256mm front discs then yes you need different hubs

I've seen a 9n3 with Aston Martin brake calipers, discs were like ufo's and it all only just fit in the wheel which looked like a 17.

Dunno what it took to fit them, might have been the same discs? But i'm sure these were grooved, and i think they had split bells. It was at a petrol station, didn't get to speak to the bloke about it for the que.

I don't know the answer to this, but check to see if the calipers are the same. If they are (and they probably are), then you just need the discs and carriers. Here's a tip: you can use carriers from almost any VAG car with 312mm front brakes, including:

Octavia VRS

A4 B6

Toledo V5

Mk4 Golf Anni

etc
