The front springs seem to move when I'm parking, is this due to be on lowering top caps not being genuine items?

They are 15's, would the blocks help the handling? Next on my list is either bearings, refurb & fit the g40 brakes, or not go out for a few months and buy coilovers, which is desperately needs! Shocks and springs are fucking terrible, rattle like shit and still getting weird 'twanging' from the springs when I'm turning stationary :(

Got to take 5 people (including myself) on Saturday for the rolling memorial so that should improve how it looks

They do, they increase the caster. stopping you wheel going back like you can see on mine and yours.

looking good steve! glad you didnt sell the wheels, really work well on the car. did you put the front shocks back together right? A few years back my mrs had a dog rough mk3 golf cabby and the front suspension on that squeeked when turning. I jacked the car up to find the springs seated on the top mounts and that the spring cup was completely missing. Although having said that I am sure I have heard of people having issues with lowering top caps before

I didn't do them, got a mate to do them in the end! Better have done it right he charged me enough, nice person...

It's mainly the drivers side that I'm having problems with, might jack it up and have a look tonight...
