Arris, do you think that thought didn't cross my mind?

Main down side to that would be that if she died too I would have to do all the house work :-(

All you do is turn a couple of screw to turn the boost up 8-)

Just think you could have a boost gauge! OMGMGMGMGMGMGMGM

boost is win.

if i do what i have planned in my head i dont think ill ever ever get out my car other than replacement tyres and fuel, but thats a bit more of a long term idea

Only down side is they have a shitty Lucas diesel pump and there's only so much you can do with it (my saph runs one too), if you want decent power really it needs a Bosch pump fitted to it like Olly did, one from a early td vw has LDA which adjusts fueling under boost so gives much more potential for tuning for driveablity as well as peak power

Get a D-turbo, fit a Bosch pump and enjoy some low cost tuning arris

Or if you just want to give it a little kick up the arse get one and pop round mine one time and we'll tweak the Lucas to give it some more poke

i cant leave fucking anything alone.

honestly.

I'm the kind of person who'd be pulling over in every layby up the boost and then come on here crying that its shit and broken

Get one then, mate diesel tunning is so easy and you can get gains for no money what so ever, I probably got about 50 brake out of my jetta for the cost of a cheap boost gauge and a few meters of 3" pipe, the rest was just playing with what was already there

My dad had a D-Turbo a while back, running on veg and it was a bit of a flyer! Cost bugger all to run, untill it went pop on 300K., but they beauty of it was, he got more back weighing it in than he paid for it in the first place haha
