So here it is, I was going to put this on ebay/autotrader but I thought id give you guys a chance first!

It's a H reg polo GT which underwent a G40 conversion by the previous owner. I have owned the car for a year and the conversion was done about 2 years ago. The car has around 76k on it (this will rise as it is my daily). The engine had about 60k on it and was rebuilt with new bearings and rings when the conversion was done. I did a compression test about a month ago out of interest and all was fine.

Tax runs out at the end of may, mot until November.

Good points

- It has a g40 lump, therefore cool as fuck

- lowered (spotted a weitec sticker which is good)

- rad replaced 4 months ago

- low mileage gearbox fitted as the last one died

- new starter fitted 2 months ago

- possibly the coolest interior ever fitted that I sourced from a mint mk3

- I also have brand new g40 badges that aren't in the pictures

- 4 branch manifold (philj i think)

- jabbasport induction kit

- Front calipers were rebuilt with new seals around 9 months ago (new pads put in after)

- some form of fast road cam

Bad points

- If i'm honest it isn't the prettiest shell ever, there are a few rust bubbles along the bottom of the doors and there is a small rust hole in the boot (looks as if water has leaked through the rear light over time.

- various small dings along the sides of the car and stonechips on the bonnet

- o/s/r plastic arch trim missing

- center section and back box could really do with replacing, blows where it joins from the downpipe.

- lumpy idle when cold, most likely due to the cam

Because of the not-so-pretty bodywork i'm asking for £1500 ono. Its not the prettiest example but it has a solid drivetrain and is fantastic fun to drive.

I am looking to swap though, don't really fancy a 6n. but try me on anything else! Ideally would swap for mk2 golf/ mk4 golf/ civics/ e30 318/ mx5 mk2

Now I do apologize for the terrible pictures (and yes that is bird shit all down the side, I haven't had time to clean is since it's been pouring down all week) I really do feel like a lazy shit for not taking pictures when it was clean.
