banded steels 14x8 and 14x9 tyres included

Featured Replies

Hi, banded steel as stated 4x100 14 x 8 and 14 x 9 with 195 45 14 all round. all balanced up and banded really well, the fella that balanced them could not believe how good they were. the problem is they leak air. they need the tyres taking off, then all you have to do is get some sealant and paint the welds with it, its a 10 quick job and a easy fix, or you could just run them and keep filling them up with air every few days. paint them the colour you want and off you go. all tyres are good the front two are falkens and the rears have 1 yoko and 1 toyo proxie. collection only, based in colchester essex. after £450 tel 07887803011 ono7135689943_25bf9c6a2f.jpg

Banded really well but they leak air, clearly not a professional job. This is extremely dangerous.

You can get a brand new set of image wheels that leak air after fitting tyres? Surely it's just the size of the tyres?

Not necessarily, it takes a pin prick sized hole for them to leak air, doesn't mean the welds are dangerous.

that fella sounds like a helmet. most banded steels need sealing, my mate has a set of wheels on a old beetle that leak so much he has to have inner tubes.
