1989 Polo Coupe S with 3F engine-Norwich-£900

Featured Replies

This is a very reluctant sale so i've priced it accordingly. I have owned this car longer than any other and its been fantastic.

Its a 1989 coupe S with a 3F engine. The engine was rebuilt about 5 years ago and its always serviced twice a year and only covers around 5k max a year.

Has a GTI coilpack fitted. GT interior, VW ll brakes with drilled discs, ECu chip (can't remember which), K&N, polybushes, ebay lowered shocks and springs all round, 14" alloys,

I've got loads and loads of receipts its recently had a new backbox, centre section is stainless straight through. Last MOT it had new tie ends and its first small bit of welding at the back of the sill, the rest of the underneith is very solid.

Its a great fun car yet still economical if driven carefully. I got around 50-55mpg on a trip to Bruges. (doing 55-60mph)

This is a very reliable daily retro but the bodywork is now looking tired. It has rust around the bottom front arches and rear bottom of the rear arches. And front and rear valance. It also has a dent on the N/S door/rear panel but its not too bad. Its still very drivable as is.

Will come with full MOT, new service and spares.

This is also a pleasure to cruise at 70 in.

Its currently been off the road for the winter as it has the last two winters, it started straight away without fault.

There's probably loads of stuff i've missed.

£900

lovely looking car by the way.

 , in some lights it still looks nice and clean, in others you can tell its 23 years old. ~doesn't distract from it being a super fun reliable little motor.

hi there, are you after a part ex atall?

thanks ash

Hi,

Only really consider something tax exempt, i'm trying to cut my fleet down to two but do fancy a classic.

Cheers
