the colour is lovely, really shines up well does your indian red. but the paints fairly shoddy, dont know what the fuck the previous owner did with it. looks good from a distance though. fortunately i have a family member who used to do resprays as a living, not anymore but he still has the equipment and i guess the skills (hopefully) so may slip him a bit of cash for a respray in the same colour. not planning on changing colour at all.

need to ditch the balloon tyres though dont i! :p

Sweet man :) makes me wanna take arch trims off lol

whats the drop?

No arch trims ftw! Well it works well on this colour IMO anyway.

Erm about 70/60 buddy

cheers bud :D

2nd the no arch trim :p mine dont have them n i like

Finally got to see the pics

Looks sweet chap. Rear shocks & springs all good? Only done 500miles at the most so i was told so should last you a fair while ;)

The banded steelies look good too.

Rear shocks are good, went too bold on my first test of them, 2nd ring from bottom, and cut a groove in my tyres and smoked the road out. Smelt good though. And yeah they're not bad, may refurb them sometime soon though, along with lower profile tyres (when I get my tax rebate, woo!)

Rears seemed much easier to do than the fronts though, not quite sure if I missed a shortcut or I was right in having to disconnect the whole lot from the driveshaft etc etc?

 been there before with a set of golf gti alloys smoking the traffic behind me!

Fronts are a pain in the arse to do. i got mine already built up on legs so was just a case of swapping them over but I'm pretty sure it is a leg off job! At least you can refurb the lot whilst its off (repaint, wheel bearings etc)

I had considered selling her but i love her too much so for now she's staying.

I think it looks awesome in the new colour. We spent a long time doing it so they're a reasonably good finish too.

Considering writing a little blog based on the car aswell as the shows I visit. would anyone read it!?

Let me know what you think :p

Excellent!!

I noticed your 6n2 and thought "I wonder if they parked there deliberately" this has made my day haha.

If you ever see me feel free to stop me and talk about polo's :)

You'll notice a change as of this morning. Bonnet is tidied up (a bit) and I have dewipered along with new rear lights, genuine late spec tinted ones, with a German passenger side

Looks nice, really do like Indian red polos but needs smaller tyres in my opinion

+ less stickerbomb :(
