I've been thinking hard about what car i want to work towards, and at the moment i'm thinking a nice 4 Motion Bora...i want something saloon like and classy... and then i thought, what's everyone else aiming for next?

i know what you mean. all i hear about all day is how nice g40's are and they arent particularly expensive either.

just worry that i'd finally get one and be able to afford the insurance, and then get bored of it quickly because its too similar to my old car.. hmm..

Next car that i will use as my transport will be motorsport bruiser, be it a defender, polo or what ever

Id quite like a MK1 Caddy, corrado, G4O or a super clean nova, not fussed which one as these are cars which i will have to own at one point before i die lol.

apparently the 1.6 is better to drive due to the more revvy nature of the engine.

however for me it'll probably be an early polo.

All this g40 talk has got me wanting a g. May use my polo to learn about the car and then save up for a g40, but they're a dying breed

Me being a moody moany git, did want a G40 but atm I'm sick of the older lowered cars, my next will prob be some sort of luxury. Was thinking like a R32 been in a couple and love them.

Wouldn't surprise me! I've heard these old Volvos are pretty comfortable.

I have my eye on a 54 plate Audi A6 Avant Quattro 2.5TDi right now....

You wont get bored quickly, I've had about 6 mk2f's before the G, and i can say - i wont get bored for a long time.

Next car wise, something to match the G's perfomance but RWD e36 328i or M3

I'm pretty happy with my current group (Mk2 Golf 16v, Corrado VR6 and soon to be Mk2 Polo 16v), but i like the idea of a Audi S4 at some point.
