NS wheel bearing replaced

both lower control arm rubbers replaced

and have fixed my exhaust hanger to it will never fall off again

folded inner lips so no rubbing :)

and tightened handbrake too

so FINGERS CROSSED its MOT time tomorrow :)

Lovely looking and well maintained motor, I love this colour, nearly bought a squareback genesis in this colour but the scrappy dropped something on it before I could get to them :(

cheers bud :) personally I think its the best colour :p along with Miami blue.. Well she passed the MOT with only 1 advisory and that was one of my tyres was gettin low compared to the others :p so all in all a great pass I think

well its been a long time since I've logged on here so here is a little catch up of whats been going on

soo since the last write up we have had some bad weather so I bught my self a set of steels wrapped in rally tyres lol

and the tyres on the ally cats blew on the front luckily whilst it was standing because of the tyres age so it sat like this for a while :(

however I finaly got the money to gether to get a whole new set of rubber for the old galls shoes

soo as you may of seen by some of the stickers I have joined up with a local vw group called DUBaSCRUB and attended my first show with them and was on the clubstand at Spring Dub 2013!!

so I had to get a polishing heres two night shots :p

so here is the old gall at Spring Dub 2013 after wheel referb and some uber polishing lol

yeah thats the place :)

So spent 3 hours the other day restoring my vw car mats and also returned the plastics inside back to their original colour. so door pins, door handles, door pockets, window winders, center console, glove box surround, lower dash, indicator stalks, and many more smaller parts. This is the result i got

all that is needed now is to wet vax seats and the interior is ready for the show season

Been slow with any progress of late, just been looking for new ideas and getting the old girls paint work all sorted... Ill let the pics do the talking :)

also went up to volksfling at Biggar where I picked up a few uber cheap parts that will be making an appearance at some point soon.

Oh and I also gave the interior a treat with a vet vax soo ill get pics up of the before and afters aswell :)

yep you guessed correctly. Everone should have one as they are just a pit of endless laughs lol espesh when on long journeys. When I went to Scotland it was brill taking to the truckers because they told me where all of the police where and where to get the best food lol.

at the moment I only have a magnetic aerial base but I want a proper rain gutter mount.

also forgot my oil pressure gauge that is now all wired in :)

You can get a one like mine Its a TTi something or other lol from amazon for around £50 including an aerial, seriously though you will be amazed at how many people still use them. The first time I fitted mine I joined in a 9+ person convo about how ice cream goes well with mutton rings.. (sheeps arsehole) lmao well worth the money even more so if you do a few long journeys a year, like I said truckers are more than willing to tell you about speed traps and if any accidents have happened futher up the road

Little update. I havr found more things that fit nicely into my retro theme lol and all I needed to do was clear out my dads garage lol. First we have an UNUSED sparkrite alarm system and I mean never been fitted with 2 key fobs and wiring diagram lol its imactulate. (Pic bellow)

And secondly is the smallest car radio in history lmao its a tiny radio that was fitted to my dads old fiat 900 camper. Made by a company called voxson. As you will see in the pics bellow its tiny. The red part (the actual radio) is no bigger than two aa batteries and the backing plate is still rather small. Its detactable and will be perfect for mounting in a descrete location so that I can either have more dials where the radio goes or have my cb mounted up there as Mattloaf pointed out lol anyway here are some pics to keep you peeps happy
